In some cases, per-minute charges are simpler – that is true. However, as Cloudonix is an infrastructure service, we don’t believe in per-minute charges. Per-minute charges promote an unhealthy relationship between the platform user and the platform, where the user always believes the bill is wrong. Using discrete units for billing simplifies billing, and reduces the friction associated with per-minute billing.
